Q1) How and when did you and Maia meet in the first place?
K (以下K）: We’ve got the same publisher in Europe and Sweden is kind of a small country.We had to meet since we both did music in our own way.I always adored Maia’s live performance. She’s mesmerizing when she’s playing electric guitar. Hope she will do that on our tour.
Q2) Do you two play together often in your hometown, Sweden as well?
K: One of the biggest artist in Sweden is Håkan Hellström.his band call themselfs Augusti Familjen.That band in particular does their own shows every summer at an amusement park in Göteborg/Sweden.Where they invite there favorite singers. One evening Maia and I shared stage.Thats the only show we´ve been doing together. It was fun. A lot of fun.
Q3) Have you played with Maia on her albums too?
K: Yes Maia has been singing on a few tracks of mine. I´ve been playing on some of hers.Looks like we will record more when I visit Japan. The future will tell more about this songs. (Maias songs)I know they will sound good. But not sure HOW good.
Q4) What will the show be like with you two together?
K: It will be something else.me and my band will perform a lot of new songs and I guess Maia will do that as well.
Q5) Are you excited about playing with the Japanese band: Chirinuru Wowaka?
K: Honestly have’nt I heard them before this tour.Allthough hats off to the singing girl who plays an electric guitar with a bigsby.Please ask me again after the tour.
Q6) Any messages to the people out there?
K: Hey Tokyo! You guys who seen me playing solo shows in japan.I promised you to get back soon.I didn’t lie -it just took me a bit longer than I thought.I had to go on tour with Debbie Harry and Mumford & Sons. and do some solid recordings.Get a ticket and you will get an evening you will remember.Maybe even something to tell your grandkids 🙂

まったくすごいことになると思うよ。僕と僕のバンドは新しい曲を沢山やるだろうな。マイアもそうなるんじゃないかな。

正直、まだちゃんと彼らの音源を聴いていないんだ。でも、エレキギターにビグズビーをつけて歌う彼女に対しては既に脱帽な気分だね。また、ショーの後にでも同じ質問してみてよ。
Q6 日本の人々にメッセージありますか？
東京の皆！前に、日本で僕のショーを見てくれた人！あの時帰って来るって誓っただろ？嘘じゃなかっただろ？ただ、ちょっと思ったより長くかかってしまったけどね。。。デボラ・ハリーや、マムフォード＆サンズ等とツアーに回らなくちゃならなかったり、レコーディングもしなくちゃならなかったから。とにかく、チケットをゲットして！忘れられない夜になるはずだから。後の孫にも伝えたくなるような、ね:-) ）
