昨日TMTSがアラバキロックフェストで日本の最初のライブをやった。アラバキのはながさステージで、前のバンドはThe Band Apartだった。The Band Apartは初めて見たけどすごく良かった。音楽はのりのりやし、お客さんのみんながとても盛り上がっていた。そして、やっとTMTSの準備が来た。準備は順調に行けたけどジャレドのサンプラーは少し手間取った。最初の曲は “Hi-fi Goon” (　　　)、とても軽快なロックの感じの曲だ。それから、”Lolita” が鳴り出した時、お客さんが一緒に手を叩いてビートをとった。いつもTMTSを見る時、エネルギッシュなのに僕はびっくりさせられる。バンドの皆はステージにいる時以外とても気楽だけど演奏をし始めたら元気爆弾だ。東京のライブも楽しみにしている。

Yesterday TMTS played their first Japan show at Arabaki Rock Fest in Sendai.  The show was on the Hanagasa stage and the band playing before them was called The Band Apart.  It was my first time seeing The Band Apart, but I was really impressed with their stuff.  Very high spirited stuff and the crowd was loving it.  After that TMTS got to setting up their gear which went pretty smoothly apart from Jarred having a little cable trouble with the sampler.  They kicked things off with “Hi-Fi Goon” which is one of their real “rock” tunes.  After that, my favorite moment was when the crowd all got into clapping along to “Lolita”.  Every time I see TMTS play I’m surprised with their energy.  They’re such laid back fun guys off stage, but when they get out there they really stir it up.  I’m looking forward to their show in Tokyo as well.
